We’re DreamCatcher Photobooth and Photography LLC (“DreamCatcher,” “we,” “us”), a photobooth and photography business based in Portland, Oregon. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We’ve tried to keep it human and jargon-free — if anything here is unclear, just email us at hello@dreamcatcherpdx.com and we’ll happily explain.

The short version: we only collect what we need to answer your questions and capture your event, we don’t sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it.

What we collect

When you contact us. If you fill out our inquiry form or email us, we collect the details you share — your name, email address, event date, the service or package you’re interested in, and whatever you write in your message.

When we work together. To plan and deliver your event, we may also collect things like your phone number, venue address, event timeline, and billing details needed to take a deposit or final payment.

Photos and videos. This is a photo business, so we capture images and video at your event and in sessions. Those photos are part of providing the service, and we store them so we can edit and deliver your gallery.

Basic website data. Our website runs on Cloudflare. Like most sites, some limited technical information (such as your browser type and general location) may be processed to keep the site secure and working. We don’t use invasive ad-tracking.

How we use your information

We use what we collect to:

Reply to your inquiry and put together a quote
Plan, schedule, and deliver your photobooth or photography service
Take deposits and process payments
Send you your photos and online gallery
Keep in touch about your booking
Protect our website from spam and abuse (our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots)

We love showing off our work, and with great events that sometimes means sharing a few favorite photos on our website, Instagram (@DreamCatcher_Photobooth), or portfolio.

You’re always in control. If you’d prefer we keep your photos private, just let us know — by email or in your contact form message — and we won’t post them. We’ll never sell your photos to anyone.

The services we rely on

We use a few trusted companies to run our business. They only handle your information to help us serve you:

Cloudflare — hosts our website and helps block spam
Resend — delivers the email when you submit our contact form
Our online gallery provider — hosts the private gallery where you view and download your photos

We don’t sell or rent your personal information to anyone, ever.

How long we keep things

We keep inquiry messages and booking details for as long as we need them to serve you and meet our business and tax obligations. We keep event photos as part of our portfolio and archive, but if you’d like your personal details removed, see below.

Your choices

You can always:

Ask what we have about you
Ask us to correct or delete your personal information
Opt out of public sharing of your photos
Unsubscribe from any non-essential emails

Kids

Events often include children, and we may photograph them with the permission of the hosting adults or guardians. We don’t knowingly collect personal information directly from children through our website.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. For anything significant, we’ll do our best to give you a heads-up.
