Terms of Service

Last updated: June 5, 2026

Thanks for considering DreamCatcher Photobooth and Photography LLC (“DreamCatcher,” “we,” “us”) for your event! These terms explain how we work together so there are no surprises. They apply when you book one of our photobooth or photography services. We’ve kept them friendly and readable — if you have questions, email us at hello@dreamcatcherpdx.com.

When you book with us and pay your deposit, you’re agreeing to these terms. A specific booking agreement or invoice we send you may add a few event-specific details, and if anything there conflicts with this page, the booking agreement wins.

Booking and deposits

  • Your date is reserved once we receive your signed booking agreement (or written confirmation) and your deposit.
  • The deposit is part of your total price, not an extra fee.
  • Because reserving your date means we turn down other events, deposits are non-refundable if you cancel.
  • The remaining balance is due by the date noted on your invoice (typically before or on your event day).

Rescheduling and cancellations

  • Life happens. If you need to reschedule, contact us as early as you can and we’ll do our best to move your deposit to a new available date.
  • If you cancel, your deposit is non-refundable, but any amount you’ve paid beyond the deposit will be refunded.
  • If we ever can’t make it due to an emergency, we’ll either help arrange a qualified replacement or refund everything you’ve paid. (See “Things outside our control” below.)

What you can expect from us

  • We’ll show up on time, set up our booth or gear, and bring the fun and professionalism.
  • For photobooth bookings, “hours of service” means live, running booth time — not setup and teardown, which we handle separately and for free in the Portland metro area.
  • We’ll deliver your digital photos and/or online gallery within a reasonable timeframe after your event. We’ll give you an estimate when you book.

What we’ll need from you

To make your event great, please help us with:

  • Space and power — an appropriate flat area (we’ll tell you how much) and access to a standard power outlet near the booth.
  • Access and timing — enough time to load in, set up, and tear down at your venue.
  • A safe environment — a dry, sheltered spot for our equipment, and guests who treat the gear and attendants kindly.

If conditions at the venue prevent safe setup or operation, or if setup is delayed for reasons outside our control, it may shorten your service time without a refund — but we’ll always try to make it work.

Your photos and how they can be used

  • You get to enjoy and share your photos. Booked digital images come with a personal print-and-share release, so you can print them, post them, and send them to friends and family.
  • Please don’t sell them or use them commercially without our written okay.
  • We keep the copyright to the images we create, which is standard for photographers.
  • Showing our work: we may use photos from your event in our portfolio, website, and social media — unless you ask us not to. Just tell us and we’ll keep your event private. We’ll never sell your images.

Payments

  • We’ll let you know accepted payment methods on your invoice.
  • Late balances may delay gallery delivery until paid.
  • Any applicable taxes will be shown on your invoice.

Behavior and safety

Our attendants are here to help everyone have a great time. We reserve the right to pause or end service (without refund) if guests damage equipment, behave abusively toward our team, or create an unsafe situation. You agree to cover the cost of any deliberate or reckless damage to our equipment by guests at your event.

Things outside our control

Sometimes things happen that no one can prevent — severe weather, illness, power failures, venue problems, accidents, or other emergencies. If something like that affects your event, we’re not liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, but we’ll work with you in good faith to reschedule or refund as described above.

Our responsibility

We carry ourselves professionally and take care of your event, but to the fullest extent allowed by law, our total responsibility for any issue connected to a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking. We’re not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses.

The basics

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
  • If any part of these terms isn’t enforceable, the rest still applies.
  • We may update these terms over time; the version in effect when you book is the one that applies to your event.

Let’s talk

Have a question before you book? We’d love to hear from you.
